MWC2025 Barcelona | Links Field Leads a New Wave of IoT Connectivity

The world’s top-tier technology event, the Mobile World Congress (MWC), kicked off in Barcelona, Spain, on March 3, 2025. Links Field, a pioneer in the IoT connectivity field, showcased its professional strength and forward-looking vision with the achievement of being among the first globally to obtain GSMA eSIM SGP.31/32 certification.
eSIM technology is driving seamless connectivity across multiple devices and scenarios, fundamentally changing the way we interact with the world. With the official release of the GSMA eSIM IoT deployment standard, resource-constrained IoT devices are now equipped with a more lightweight remote configuration and management process. This enables devices with high demands on power consumption and storage space to easily achieve remote management. These advancements not only make the deployment of IoT devices more efficient but also make global connectivity smarter and more flexible.
At the exhibition, Links Field demonstrated its latest progress in eSIM technology. As one of the first companies globally to obtain GSMA SGP.32 eSIM IoT technical specification certification, we possess full-chain technical capabilities from hardware integration to software management. We assist ODM/OEM customers in seamlessly embedding eSIM technology into various devices and help them complete multiple tests. For operators, we provide eSIM remote configuration to ensure seamless device switching across over 220 countries and promote eSIM-related services through our sales platform. The eSIM Manager App, based on IPA/LPA technology, offers customers an intuitive device management interface, simplifying the entire lifecycle operation from configuration to maintenance.
In July 2023, GSMA launched the SGP.32 eSIM IoT technical specification (IoT architecture). Links Field’s physical site in Shenzhen, China, and cloud site in Munich, Germany, passed this specification certification in November 2024, becoming one of the only five eIM service providers globally certified by GSMA. During the same period, our eSIM remote management platform for eSIM Consumer specifications (SGP.21/SGP.22) also successfully passed its annual review and obtained renewal.
